Cockburn tuned into The Joe Rogan Experience the other day, Rogan’s 1837th episode, in case you were wondering. The guest was unwoke former Disney actress Gina Carano, though it was Rogan himself who said something that made Cockburn smile:
Gina Carano: Are you throwing out any support towards anyone or are you gonna hold off? Didn’t Elon Musk come out recently for DeSantis?
Joe Rogan: Yeah, I think Ron DeSantis would work as a good president. I mean, what he’s done for Florida has been admirable.

That’s impressive coming from a former Bernie Bro. Rogan continued, “You know, he’s not perfect, he’s a human being, but what he’s done is stand up for freedoms.”

Rogan also discussed President Joe Biden, saying, “All this stuff is happening while we have a dead man as president. You know, it’s just not fun.”

Rogan’s comments were hardly surprising. On an earlier episode, Rogan mocked Biden for falling off his bike during a recent ride in Delaware, saying the president had “nice legs” and claiming in jest that he must have a body double. Rogan also admitted that he hadn’t voted for Biden because “he can’t talk right anymore,” in addition to Biden’s history of plagiarism and frequent lying.

Cockburn has always had an eye on Rogan, especially since the mainstream media is so intent on attacking on him for pushing “conspiracy theories” and “alt-right misinformation.” Yet this time around, he refuted Carano when she claimed authorities had used lockdowns to intentionally drive down mental and physical health. The media reported positively on this, though Rogan’s comments on DeSantis will no doubt land him in hot water.

There’s always something going on with Rogan, and Cockburn will keep avidly tuning in.
