Trump parties are usually littered with famous, Botox-ed faces. It’s far rarer to find yourself rubbing shoulders with TikTok stars.

Hailey Lujan, who has over 350,000 followers on her TikTok @lunchbaglujan, is a twenty-one-year-old soldier who is apparently in the US Army’s 101st Airborne Division. Cockburn’s nieces tell him that Lujan is also an “e-girl,” which Vox describes as “hip young people whose defining qualities are that they are hot and online.”

In her latest TikTok, the influencer was recently seen chilling in Las Vegas with Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump and Rick Harrison from the reality show Pawn Stars.

Lujan introduces her video by saying “OK I’m with my friend from IllPro, we’re about to go to Donald Trump Jr.’s party and if I meet Donald Trump Jr. I’m going to take a picture with him and put a really stupid caption. Stay tuned.”

What follows is a video of her walking down a corridor at the Trump Hotel in Vegas, then a photo of her with Eric Trump, then one with Trump Jr. and Harrison accompanied by the caption, “I’m Rick Harrison and this is my psyop.” Next is a screenshot showing that Eric has followed her on Instagram and slid into her DMs.

Lujan identifies herself as a “psychological operations specialist at the US Army.” Her social media accounts are filled with military-style videos, which has led to internet conspiracy theorists speculating whether “TikTok persona” is being used as some sort of recruiting tactic for the US military.

Cockburn can see why, after watching one clip in which Lujan says, “I’m not the American dream, I’m more like the American nightmare,” while in a face full of drawn-on freckles and a rosy nose. She also posts selfies inside choppers with assault rifles, with hashtags like #pewpew and #militarycurves.

Whatever she’s doing, it’s working — on the Trump boys and on hundreds of thousands of others. Cockburn thanks Hailey for her service.
