It’s always too good to be true for the moral majority. After dedicating his life to Christ with the release of his gospel album in 2019, Kanye West is seemingly putting his conversion to Christianity on hold while he starts his own porn studio.
West confirmed his latest venture on Wednesday with a video on X, although his account his since been deactivated. “Yeezy porn is cumming,” the video read with a voiceover telling viewers to visit Yeezy.com. No information is yet on the website, but TMZ is speculating the studio could be launched as early as this summer. According to a representative for West — who may or may not be his chief of staff Milo Yiannopoulos, another contentious figure who supposedly underwent a come-to-Jesus moment — the rapper is “dead set on doing it” and is “advanced talks to actually get something up and running.” So much for “Christ is King.”
To kickstart the project, West has been in talks with Mike Moz, one of Stormy Daniels’s ex-husbands. Moz has worked as a producer in the adult-entertainment industry for over a decade, and before that as a casting and art director.
West has had a tumultuous relationship with pornography since childhood. He was first exposed to his dad’s Playboy magazines as a five-year-old, and it wasn’t long before he had developed a full-on porn addiction. During his divorce from Kim Kardashian, West accused Hollywood of being [sic] a “giant brothel Pornography” that destroyed his family. In 2022, several Yeezy employees accused West of showing them explicit videos and images of Kim. After trying to kick his porn habit in the past few years, West has fallen back into his old ways.
Podcaster-turned-porn star Adam22 is excited for West’s artistic vision but has one piece of advice for the rapper — not to let his new wife, Bianca Censori, film with other men (Adam22 is speaking from experience). Cockburn wonders whether Censori will steer entirely clear of the industry, however. The Australian model and architect is practically nude every time she appears in front of a camera — a decision West seems to be pushing despite criticizing Kim for the same conduct. In February, Censori famously wore nothing but a plastic bag in public and this week West admitted he thinks his wife looks “best undressed.”
