Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle, the Princess of Privacy never manage to keep out of the news for too long. This time it transpires that the red-headed royal has now officially changed his primary country of residence from the UK to the US. Too good for Britain, Harry?

Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle, the Princess of Privacy never manage to keep out of the news for too long. This time it transpires that the red-headed royal has now officially changed his primary country of residence from the UK to the US. Too good for Britain, Harry?

Documents on the Companies House site reveal that the media-shy monarch filed for a change of address for his sustainable tourism business (“Travalyst”) on Wednesday. However, the change is dated for June 29, 2023 which is, curiously, the day that King Charles asked Harry and his American wife to vacate Frogmore Cottage in Windsor. This is the property, dear readers, that the privileged couple reportedly complained wasn’t big enough “to swing a cat in” and yet were apparently “deeply wounded” when it was taken away from them. There’s just no pleasing some people…

The UK isn’t safe enough for the precious Harry, he believes. He said last year that while he views Britain as his home, he felt “forced” to flee to the comfort of his Montecito mansion in the US due to safety concerns. His claims come after a well-publicized royal rift over the downgrading of the renegade royal’s security. He has already lost a legal battle over the matter in the high court in February, but bullheaded Harry is determined to keeping pursuing his case.

And Harry has become so disenchanted with the United Kingdom that he is even considering American citizenship, telling Good Morning America in February that the prospect had “crossed my mind.” But Cockburn isn’t all that sure that America particularly wants the Montecito monarchs. Don’t forget that it was only in December that the dynamic duo were ranked among the Hollywood Reporter’s biggest losers of the year. Hardly the warmest welcome…
