Higher-ups at Anheuser-Busch are thought to have been caught flat-footed by the scandal and resulting boycott and are fearful of potential financial ramifications.

Disney’s new live-action remake of The Little Mermaid starring Halle Bailey is going even more PC. Alan Menken, who helped create the soundtrack for the original animated film, revealed that there will be lyric changes to the famous tunes “Kiss the Girl” and “Poor Unfortunate Souls”.
“There are some lyric changes in ‘Kiss the Girl’ because people have gotten very sensitive about the idea that [Prince Eric] would, in any way, force himself on [Ariel],” Menken said in an interview with Vanity Fair.
The updates to “Poor Unfortunate Souls” will regard “lines that might make young girls somehow feel that they shouldn’t speak out of turn, even though Ursula is clearly manipulating Ariel to give up her voice.”
Yeah, it’s almost like Ursula is the villain, or something!
Anyway, Menken clearly sounds thrilled that his masterpieces are going through the woke wringer. How much did Disney pay him for this public flogging?
Lemon squeezed out at CNN?
The studio walls are quickly closing in on Don Lemon after accusations of his borderline psychotic behavior towards female colleagues emerged.
Variety reported that the CNN anchor sent malicious, threatening texts to his former co-anchor Kyra Phillips, after she was picked over him for an assignment in Iraq. Don said she was “going to pay for it,” before destroying her desk. That’ll teach her!
While he may be unpleasant, woman-hating and just plain weird, there is something far more embarrassing that Don has been accused of: name-dropping. Colleagues have claimed that he makes a point of mentioning important people he’s socialized with, and even has a handwritten note from Stedman Graham taped to his computer. Is Corey Lewandowski the MAGA Pete Davidson? An investigation
Donald Trump’s arrest meant that “Trumpworld” figures were in demand this week. His 2016 campaign manager Corey Lewandowski told Newsmax that the charges against Trump were “surreal.”
Even more surreal, though, is Lewandowski’s status as a GOP sex symbol. The married father of four dated stunning Trump aide Hope Hicks during the ’16 campaign. “You’re the best piece of tail he’ll ever have,” Trump told Hicks at the time.
But that wasn’t necessarily true! Reporting from American Greatness alleged that South Dakota governor Kristi Noem had also been romantically involved with Lewandowski while he aided her campaign. The gorgeous governor slammed the claim as a “disgusting lie” — but did not pursue legal action against the conservative website.
Lewandowski has also been the subject of more unsavory accusations: singer Joy Villa said he slapped her butt in 2017 and GOP donor Trashelle Odom claimed he made unwanted sexual advances towards her (Newsmax do not seem to have a problem with this). So what’s the appeal?
Cockburn polled a number of Republican women in DC. Most were equally perplexed. “I don’t think he is unattractive,” one said, “it just depends on whatever your type is, I guess.”
“I’m not offended by the sight of him, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to end up in a headline with him,” said another.
But one was much more insightful. “How did Corey Lewandowski become the Pete Davidson of American politics? He might’ve gotten his pistol confiscated, but Corey is still packing,” she said.
“Anyone who’s worked on campaigns gets it: stressful times lead to sloppy decisions. Corey is a man of many talents — and seducing women well out of his league is one of them.”
