Why Biden’s cancer diagnosis has been greeted by a dose of skepticism

Not everyone in the media is swallowing the story as told hook, line and sinker

Through the Covid-19 pandemic any dissent from the official medical story told by the CDC, Deborah Birx and Anthony Fauci would land you in detention. Other medical experts who went against the recommendations, no matter how they were being presented, found themselves censored by the government, demonetized by social media platforms and vilified by their colleagues. This did enormous damage to the idea of “expertise.”

We are still coming to grips with the effects of Joe Biden’s office’s announcement this past Sunday that the former president had just been diagnosed with stage-four prostate cancer. The revelation grabbed the attention of not only the usual political and media pundits, but of medical professionals as well.

Several physicians and experts took to Twitter/X to cast aspersions, stating that the timing of the announcement, as well as the seriousness of the diagnosis of the former president, simply didn’t add up. They weren’t swallowing the official story coming from a politician, hook, line and sinker, as they may have done in the past.

How could an easily detectable and treatable form of cancer reach such a grave state without anyone catching it, in the most medically monitored human being on the planet?

Even CNN wasn’t buying it as they broke into immediate coverage. Dr. Jamin V. Brahmbhatt speculated that Biden perhaps was seeking treatment in secret, and the hormone treatments may have contributed to his cognitive decline.

“One of the biggest side effects that I see in my patients that get these hormone treatments could be cognitive changes,” he said. “So you have to kind of balance that people can also get issues with fatigue and weight loss. But when he has stuff in his bones, he’s also at higher risk for fractures. So it is it is a very sensitive conversation.”

Cancer expert Dr. Steven Quay also wrote for The Spectator that it’s highly likely Biden’s cancer diagnosis came some time during the duration of his term, and even possibly at the beginning or even before. “The highest probability is that the diagnosis has been known for many years, but a calculated decision was made to not announce it, not treat it, and hope after the re-election the treatment could be done when it was still a local disease. An unfortunate turn of events,” he wrote.

Nick Mark, a medical practitioner, wrote on Twitter/X, “As someone who follows presidential health reporting, I noticed something odd: unlike his predecessors, Biden’s physician’s never reported PSA.” Mark included an extensive thread showing that not taking or reporting a PSA test for a president is rare.

What’s more, journalists apt at swallowing whatever story is fed to them by the former president’s aides took to promoting skeptical experts of the former president’s “sudden” diagnosis. Nandita Bose for Reuters highlighted Dr. Chris George of Northwestern University who said in a statement, “it’s sort of hard for me to believe that he’s had a PSA within the past year, that was normal. It’s possible. It’s definitely possible, but that would surprise me… Usually prostate cancer doesn’t, you know, go full throttle like this too often. When it does, that’s usually a bad, bad sign. That’s an aggressive cancer for sure. But it does seem odd to me. I agree.”

Whether it’s the medical fallout from heavy-handed pandemic policy, there is a welcome dose of skepticism coming from a community that has been in dire need of thought reform. Would things be different if Joe Biden were still the president and we were all taking his doctor’s word at face value? Maybe. But thanks to medical experts openly questioning this new Biden diagnosis, after ignoring his decline for so long is a welcome change, and we should hope it continues.

“Trust the science” is no longer good enough, and it certainly should not be good enough for the ongoing cover-up of the former president’s health.
